AAF Brand Marketing Competition 2019

The annual AAF Brand Marketing Competition was sponsored by Wienerschnitzel. Back in August 2018, we received the case brief which tasked us with the challenge of elevating the image of the hot dog  to increase sales among all distribution points.

Once elected Executive Director of Account Planning and Insights, I guided our team through a series of primary and secondary research to uncover our target audience and develop our media and measurement strategy. Our primary research included surveys and concept tests while our secondary research heavily utilized Simmons data.

The team's combined efforts earned us a 3rd place ranking among our district competitors.

Business Analytics Competition 2018

In recent years, the need for business-people with data science skills has grown tremendously in the workplace. Manhattan College's Annual Business Analytics Competition gives students around the world a chance to learn these skills and put them to the test.

After taking several classes for my Quantitative Business Analysis minor, I was excited for the opportunity to apply what I have learned to solve problems with real data sets. Each team was given NYC contracts and spending data and asked to formulate an original research question. We chose to use the data to analyze the role, or lack there of, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE's).

When in Cannes...

The Cannes Film Festival is the world's most glamorous annual event. In May 2017, I traveled to Cannes, France to attend the selective student program hosted by the American Pavilion.

I started my journey as an events management intern. I worked directly with American Pavilion staff to host a number of global celebrations in Canne's hub for American filmmakers.

While I learned so much witnessing the panels and round-tables we organized in the Pavilion- life in Cannes moves too fast to stay in any one place very long. Six days into the festival, I was selected to intern for Faye Dunaway, beloved American movie actress and original Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde! It was truly the experience of a lifetime.
